A note on the posting of sermons on this website.
As missionaries we work with the resources we can gather together and with the time God gives us. I have tried to do my best to at least indicate the resource used in each sermon so not to claim a certain idea as my own. In some cases I have been able to cite the resources in bibliographical form and with proper footnotes. I apologize for those references that are not perfectly cited and I hope that you can overlook some of these errors. Some of these are due to the borrowing of books from other missionaries from whom I did not record all of the referenced information.
Lastly, these sermons are more than one person's sweat (literally) and tears. They are like a reflection of both Tany and my synthesis of the needs of the congregation to which we minister. These sermons provide a window into the issues and concerns of Burkinabe Mennonites. Please do not feel obligated to read through all of these, but browse through to get a picture of our congregational issues. Good sermons are written to be relevant to a culture while staying true to the Scriptures.
Any cultural misinterpretations or other errors in the sermons are, of course, the fault of the author.
